Terms of service

These Membership Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your membership with Hygiene, operated by SPF HYGIENE RETAIL (“Hygiene”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By purchasing or using a Hygiene membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1. Membership Fee & Duration

Hygiene offers the following membership types:

(a) Complimentary Trial Membership

Every newly registered Hygiene account will automatically receive one (1) complimentary trial membership, valid for thirty (30) days from the date the account is successfully created.

Each individual is eligible for one (1) complimentary trial membership only. Hygiene reserves the right to suspend, cancel or refuse trial memberships where duplicate accounts, abuse, fraud or other misuse is reasonably suspected.

(b) Annual Membership

The standard annual membership fee is RM96.00.

Annual membership is valid for twelve (12) consecutive months from the date payment is successfully confirmed and membership is activated.

Membership fees must be paid in full in advance. Instalment payment plans are not available.

Membership fees are non-refundable once membership has been activated, except where required by applicable law.

2. Membership Benefits

During an active Trial Membership or Annual Membership, eligible members may enjoy:

• Member-exclusive pricing on eligible products available on our platform.

• Complimentary standard shipping on eligible orders delivered within Malaysia, including Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.

The applicable member discount will be displayed on our website and may differ depending on the type of membership or promotional campaign.

Discounts apply only to eligible products and cannot be combined with other vouchers, promotional codes or promotional offers unless expressly stated otherwise.

3. Membership Renewal

Complimentary Trial Memberships expire automatically after one (1) calendar month and do not convert into a paid membership automatically. No payment method will be charged unless you separately purchase an Annual Membership.

Annual Memberships do not renew automatically. You will not be charged automatically when your Annual Membership expires.

We will endeavour to send a renewal reminder to your registered email address approximately fourteen (14) days before your Annual Membership expires.

Upon the expiry of either a Trial Membership or an Annual Membership, all applicable membership benefits, including member-exclusive pricing and complimentary shipping, will cease.

Renewals of Annual Memberships are subject to the prevailing membership fee and these Terms in effect at the time of renewal. Any promotional pricing applicable to a previous membership purchase will not automatically apply to renewal.

4. Referral Programme

Each active Annual Member will receive a unique personal referral code after membership activation.

A referral reward is earned when a new customer, who has not previously held a Hygiene membership, purchases a full-price annual membership using the referring member’s valid referral code.

For each successful referral, the referring member will receive one (1) calendar month added to their current membership expiry date.

Referral rewards are limited to a maximum of five (5) successful referrals per membership year, equivalent to a maximum extension of five (5) months.

Referral rewards apply only to the referring member. A referred customer will not receive an additional discount, reduced membership fee, or other benefit solely by using a referral code, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Referral codes are personal and non-transferable. They must not be sold, transferred, publicly posted for mass distribution, or used in any manner that Hygiene reasonably considers abusive, misleading, fraudulent, or inconsistent with these Terms.

Hygiene may withhold, reverse, or disqualify referral rewards where we reasonably suspect self-referral, fraud, code abuse, or an attempt to circumvent these Terms.

5. Hygiene Member Protection

Hygiene Member Protection is our customer-service commitment to address eligible issues relating to products purchased through our platform. It is not an insurance product, financial guarantee, or regulated financial instrument.

Subject to our Return & Refund Policy, Member Protection may apply where:

• A product is received in a physically damaged condition.

• A product is confirmed to be defective or materially different from its description at the time of delivery.

• A verifiable adverse reaction is reasonably attributable to a defective or incorrectly described product.

Member Protection does not apply to:

• Change-of-mind returns.

• Products that have been opened, used, applied, or consumed, except where an eligible defect or adverse reaction is reported within the applicable timeframe.

• Normal product characteristics, including scent, texture, or appearance, that differ from personal preference or expectation.

• Damage caused by misuse, mishandling, or improper storage after delivery.

• Products that have expired due to storage conditions within the member’s control.

• Membership fees, except where required by applicable law.

To submit a Member Protection request, you must notify us within seven (7) calendar days of the recorded delivery date and provide your order number and clear supporting evidence. We may request additional information to assess the request.

6. Product Sourcing & Authenticity

Products listed on the Hygiene platform are sourced through legitimate retail channels in Malaysia, including official online stores of established health and beauty retailers.

Products are supplied in their original retail condition. Hygiene does not repackage, relabel, remanufacture, or modify any product.

Hygiene is an independent membership service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any brand or retailer whose products appear in our catalogue. All brand names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Orders may arrive with retailer, fulfilment partner, or courier packaging, receipts, invoices, or delivery information. This does not affect the product’s original condition or authenticity.

7. Membership Account Responsibilities

Membership is personal to the registered account holder and is non-transferable. You must not share, sell, lend, or otherwise allow another person to use your membership or membership benefits.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date, including your name, email address, mobile number, and delivery address.

You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. Do not share your password or account access with any other person.

We may suspend or terminate a membership where we reasonably believe that an account has been used fraudulently, shared between multiple users, or used in material breach of these Terms. Any such action will be subject to applicable law.

8. Trial Membership

Complimentary Trial Memberships are provided solely for promotional purposes and may be withdrawn, modified or discontinued by Hygiene at any time for future registrations.

Hygiene reserves the right to suspend or terminate a Trial Membership where we reasonably believe that multiple accounts, false information, automated registrations, or other abusive conduct has been used to obtain additional trial benefits.

Upon expiry of the Trial Membership, all trial benefits will cease unless the member purchases an Annual Membership.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms, membership benefits, product availability, or pricing from time to time.

For material changes that affect existing members, we will provide at least thirty (30) days’ prior notice through your registered email address or another reasonable method of communication.

Your continued use of membership benefits after the effective date of the updated Terms will constitute acceptance of those updated Terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights or remedies that you may have under applicable Malaysian law.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
